I love interviewing authors, LIVE! Seriously, Sherry Harris is super sweet and she gives a great on-the-spot interview.
There is nothing better than hanging out with authors. If you haven’t ever been to a book festival, go. A book person can’t go and not enjoy themselves. You walk away with more than books. You walk away with new friends.
As sunny South Cove, California, gears up for their annual Fourth of July celebrations, a local murder threatens to kill the fireworks . . .
South Cove’s local businesses are up in arms after volunteer fire chief Barry Gleason threatens to shut down anyone who doesn’t comply with the fire code. But when Barry schedules a training burn in an old abandoned barn, he is the only one who doesn’t come out alive. Jill Gardner—owner of Coffee, Books, and More—smells murder in the ashes. She’ll have to work quickly to nab a killer with a short fuse—or else everyone’s holiday will end with a fizzle . . .
Get ready for the next chapter in South Cove as “Rockets’ Dead Glare” releases June 6, 2018! You can get in on the fun early however! Just comment below for a chance to win one of the prizes from Lynn’s prize vault of a bag or book or maybe BOTH. If you pre-order and private message me or Lynn on our blog pages, we’ll throw your name in the drawing THREE TIMES to tripple your chances of winning.

Hey all you COZY readers! I hope you all have enjoyed our suggestions over the pasted two months for fall and Halloween. I know I have enjoyed seeing what the Karens, Lisa and Mary enjoy reading and I hope YOU all have enjoyed what I picked out. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, it’s time for a break.
We will all be back in 2018 with our Amigo Blog Tours and will take this time to focus on our own reading, writing and reviewing. Just like you, we love to cozy up and read what others are saying about books, explore new authors and even write a little on the side.
I, as are the other Amigos, am SO thankful for each and everyone of you readers and authors that take the time to read my reviews, swing by to talk to the author and above all, to leave reviews for the books you read. With the holidays and three kids comes less time for reading and writing for me and more time time snuggling small ones and reading to them.
I will be on here off and on to let you know about some upcoming stuff I am excited about. But, for now, it’s time to take a break and enjoy some coffee. Feel free to comment below and let me know what you have planned for the next couple of months.
I love a good mystery of course and mystery parties just seem like the next step. My daughter’s upcoming birthday inspired my craft for this week as well as my good author friend, Vicki Vass and her amazingly titled book, “Key To A Murder.”
So, today you’ll need key charms that you can get at any hobby or craft store. Do make sure to see if they have a coupon….that’s the KEY to a good bargain. I got mine for 40% off. You’ll also need a good craft glue, paint brush and enough toothpicks for whatever you plan to stick these in.
Tiny Key Charms
Good Music (might I suggest Pearl Jam?)
You can use these as cupcake picks, picks for a cheese and fruit trays at your book club gatherings and whatever else you can think of to stick these in; as the possibilities are endless. The KEY is to have fun!
I hope you enjoy the video, try this craft, check out Vicki’s book and enter my contest. I’m giving away a set of my keys I used and Vicki is throwing in her book “Key To A Murder.” WOW!
I adore the Webb’s Stain Glass Mystery series by Cheryl Hollon. Have you read it? If not, the link to buy it will be at the bottom of the page.
For my first craft, I wanted to start out with the newest craze of painting rocks! Are you into painting rocks? Today I show you how to turn a rock into faux stained glass.
I hope you like the video, share the video and post photos of YOUR finished faux stained glass rock project.
Oh…and count how many times I say “um” in the video. Seriously, it’s a lot.
If you read this blog, then you love mysteries and solving them along with the various characters that are so brilliantly woven throughout the many books that I blog about. Kathi Daley is hosting a Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt and someone has been murdered! It is up to you, the readers, to solve the mystery this time. And, the prizes are fantastic.
Find all the clues which will be listed on the Facebook pages listed above and figure out who the killer is, who the victim is, and which type of dance they were participating in when the murder occurred.
How does one survive this? Well, Kathi has written a handy guide right here. Make sure to read and study it before the dance. It might be the only thing that keeps you alive…
One grand prize winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and 5 second place winners will receive their choice of Kathi Daley ebook.
The clues will be provided February 8 – 13 and the winner will be announced on February 14. The rules and links to the clues will be posted on my main author page on February 7 at https://www.facebook.com/kathidaleybooks/
